About

Let us talk and go birding

My interest in photography began in childhood, inspired by my father’s Yashica point-and-shoot camera. What started as curiosity gradually evolved into a focused creative pursuit with the transition to DSLR photography.

While my early work centered on landscapes, my practice now specializes in avian and wildlife photography, with an emphasis on ethical fieldcraft, natural light, and habitat-driven storytelling. Through consistent fieldwork, I document migratory and resident bird species, highlighting the ecological richness of Ranchi, Jharkhand — the “City of Waterfalls.”

My work aims to combine visual aesthetics with awareness of biodiversity and conservation, while continuously learning and evolving within the photography community.

I continue to learn from both experienced naturalists and emerging photographers, believing that growth in this craft comes from shared knowledge and time spent in the field.

Platform of WingsThroughLens serves as a curated portfolio of my work and a space to connect with fellow photographers, conservation enthusiasts, and nature lovers.
